Poor Man's Drive By Wire Delete
What does your unit cost? I have seen them on ebay for as low as $70 plus shipping. Can you beat that?

Thank you guys for all the interests. Final tester will be determined by tomorrow morning.
Personally, I did a quick check w/ my friend's 08 TSX, the connection is all good. The difficult part is to find the right place where I can run the wire thru firewall.
If you are familiar w/ this, let us know ASAP.
Sincerely

Ok, so I read through all of these and haven't relaly seen a clear answer...
Has anyone installed the D1SPEC or the E-Drive versions on their 3G TL? Has it worked? Thoughts and feelings?

We are trying to find a tester to test our kit on TL.
If all went well, we will apply vendor status and offer this kit to all the TL/TSX owners.

The newest version (3rd) has w/ smaller/thinner display module (15 mm thickness)
I will post up pictures when these new kits arrived.

TWP
so which version are we testing ??
2nd version aka ETC, the 3rd version won't be available till the beginning of June.
We did change the programming from 1st to 2nd version. From 2nd to 3rd, programming is the same but the display module is thinner and smaller.

TWP

Just wondering? why didn't I get picked? I could have done both TL 07 5AT and an accord 06 v6 6MT, and I could have showed it off at SYTFU 5th annual meet.
Also, the components we use inside that tiny box are all from well known vendors such as Fujitsu and TSMC. we have safety bypass switch integrated in the kit. If any hardware failure happens, the kit will revert back to OEM (stock throttle postion) automatically to prevent sudden launch

Sincerely,
TWP
Sorry Sir,
My boss made the decision because the selected tester had been thru Sprint Booster before.
We wanna see some reviews featuring direct comparison against Sprint Booster. That way, people would know more about our product.

I hope I am not speaking out of turn, but they asked for my specific make and model year and assured me it was plug and play. The only real work is bringing it through the firewall and finding a suitable mounting spot. The last thing I would do is take a chance with my car. If it's not safe and P&P I wouldn't do it.
If i took my car off Versa (spelling?) mode, and installed this and brought up sport mode, wouldnt my tires be spinning like mad everytime off the line with me hardly stepping on the gas?
Yes, Plug and play. Adjustable throttle controller (ATC) serves as a signal manipulator that will amplify or shrink the signal being sent from gas pedal to throttle regulator.
ATC does not change any fuel/air/ignition data in your ECU.
Also, ATC is not a performance mod that will give you 20 Hp in 30 mins installation. ATC is an electronic device that will change the way you drive. The key here is the "Adjustable" that comes in variable modes to help ease up your driving in all kinds of different condition.
Couple examples:
1. Sports Mode 5-7 can be used at drag racing, drifting, and highway merging.
2. Eco Mode 1-3 can be used at urban driving, or highway cruising and Eco Mode 4-5 is good for heavy traffic.
3. Sports Mode 1-4 can be used at regular street driving or some minor spirit driving.
Any question, please feel free to reply

no... this will not make your car rev quicker... just make the pedal more responsive... the only way you'd spin off the line is if your rpms got up there which this will not do
Any thought on testing with a gadget like this
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/gtech.htm
to get better feed back on what your gadget can do?

Hey Panson,
This is your company website correct?
http://twptrade.com/autoparts/index....tpage&Itemid=7
Anyways I can't wait to get testing and give out a detail review about this unit.

Just got the unit today and I will start doing my write up either later on today with
So I just got the unit in today and I promise I help the company write a review.
To start off the Shipping was extremely fast. I received notice on Thursday May 13, 2010. I received the unit on Monday May 17, 2010.
Here what the packaging looks like:
What do we have here?

Very nice. One is the harness to the accelerator pedal and the other one is the unit itself

Unit model

Accelerator harness

the brain and the control units are in this box.

Now the unboxing

The second box

Control unit

Brain Unit

All of the instruction are written in plain and simple English. Took me 2 mins to read both of the instruction.
My first impression of the unit before testing. The packaging is very nice looks very simple and to the point. The instructions are like I said earlier very simple to read. The one thing that I wish they would include was a T-tap or some sort of connector so that I can tap into the reverse backing signal. This is very important because you really don't want this unit on its "sport mode" while you are backing up. That is a big NO NO and I would be extremely scary if you were going Wide Open Throttle (WOT) in reverse. Another thing that I would like to add was that they used really sticky double sided foam tape to hold the control unit in the box. When removed there is some residue that must be clean off. Besides those two things. The unit unboxing looks great.
I will be posting on a DIY after I get the T-taps that are required.
So please Stay tune

You will have to drill through the firewall or find a way to feel it through.
If your TL is designed like my accord. Your TL has a cable wires that connects to the pedal and runs to the DBW system which is under the hood of your car. It is under all that plastic covering on the passenger side near the strut.
For me the wire was too short. So I am going to PM Panson with some questions.

I am away on a business trip but I'm sure the DBW is on the passenger side of the firewall. There is a port through the firewall on the TL in the middle of the drivers side I was going to use but haven't seen the wire lengths yet. Let me know what you find...

you are correct. the TB sensor is near the passenger side. I need to do some more research. I don't know where those wires come out from. My issue with the harness is that it does not have the rubber garment that protects the wiring from moisture like the OEM cable does. If you flip over the harness can compare it to the honda one you can see what I mean. I already emailed Panson about this.
