performance camshafts

got an 05 6mt and i just snapped a cam. (don't ask) since i gotta replace it, i was wondering if there was any perfomance cams available. or even if the 07 type s cam profile is more aggressive? i got an f5 fujita cai, king motorsports tb, eliminated mid muffler, ur pulley, thermoblock gaskets. gonna get some teins and some te37's later with a progress sway bar.

He might be talking about the big bore service. They'll take your stock tb and bore it out:

The KMS Big Bore Throttle Body Service is the perfect addition for those who want more intake capacity when using big camshafts, radical headwork and more compression. A new throttle plate is installed and the throttle body bore is tapered, enlarged and polished to fit. Each throttle body is bead blasted for perfect appearance and the TPS sensor is reset for optimum performance.

NOTE: Customer throttle body must be supplied.

60mm bored to 64mm

62mm bored to 65mm

RSX bored 2.5mm over to 64.5mm

All other bored 3.75mm over

i know the tl-s cams are hollow core for weight reduction so it's good for less rotational inertia (ie. ur crank pullley) but i want a more aggressive cam. know any inexpensive (but reputable) custom cam makers

Dont know how long your car is going to be down but would be nice to see some mods outside the regular bolt ons. Keep us updated with your finds or if you choose to attempt the TLS cam.

most of the well known cam places can grind them. I have used crower, crane and lunati for pulling tractors. Not sure how much experience they would have doing a vtech profile though

Thats what i figured but didn't really know any reputable places. I thought this was what people did before (well at least on civics)

tb service improves throttle response. just like any other n/a bolt-on, it doesn't add power. it frees up restricted power. the intake system is probably the biggest power restriction on any n/a vehicle. particularly hondas.
