PCD to HFC

Installed V3 PCD 2 weeks ago and love almost everything about them, but i dont know if i really like the smell of it. I mean its not bad at all but still present. Just wondering what i could sell them for cause they are almost new.

If im gonna loose some good cash then i dont know if its worth doing it. The swap would be much easier now since the stock cats are out of the way

Some people complain about the rasp but to me when stepping on it, you really feel the power and it gets loud with some rasp i guess but it actually makes it feel even faster.

Im kinda debating on what i should do.

Also looking to buy the XLR8 resonated exhaust and im afraid with the PCD that it might be to loud for me...

not to dog you or anything, but how many threads about the same general topic are you gonna create!?

How much did you buy the PCD's for?
since you installed it, you're going to get MUCH MUCH LESS than what you want for them.
Hey, you might get lucky and sell them to that one perfect buyer.

if and when you put on the Exelerate exhaust, and if its too loud, you could always add another resonator.(which btw, the topic has been beaten to death 100xover.)

Sounds like you know what to do, keep em on and follow Mr. Space's advice when it comes time for your exhaust.

I'm not going any where, sir.

It sounds like you're undecided on what to do with your exhaust pieces.
from your Original Post, you dont mind the rasp yet you said you dont want the XLR8 exhaust to be loud.

you have several options:

Grab the HFC's and the XRL8 exhaust.
or keep the v2 PCD's and get an exhaust.
if its too loud, add a resonator.

go to a local exhaust shop and ask them to fab up something cool and mystifying. tell them exactly your needs. I'm willing to bet they can create a custom catback that performs and sounds great.

got get mad, he does it all the time on here, he sits home and hits the refresh button every 5 minutes so he can respond with his opinion to make him self feel justified in life.

Now onto important things other then upping your post count like that guy.. How much would you realistically be looking to sell them for... did you have them on a stock S exhaust? I have been considering these, but all the topics about the rasp really dont justify the weedwacker sound for a few ponies...... and I am curious what your setup was so i can compare what mine WOULD be.

let me know what your set up was... if I dont get these I may just do the J pipe.

Onthejob, if you want to add a little moar ponies without the weedwacker sound, grab the HFC's.

Maybe dumb question, but with the high flows and a j-pipe without a cat, on an otherwise stock TL, will it still pass emissions? Sorry, I am a newb here, feel free to ruin my life if this is a dumb question. At least I didnt make a new thread right? lol

as long as you dont have a CEL, and your state does not do sniffer test, then you will pass emissions.
some people damage the 02 sensors when installing HFC/PCD's which throws a CEL.

I passed with flying colors in Texas.

P.S. I'm not mean to the noobies, unless they have no brains.
