Oil Pressure Switch's Dimension?

Does anyone know what is the diameter and thread of the oil pressure switch that is mounted on the engine?

I want to install an oil pressure gauge and want to keep the original switch also.

So I need to assemble the proper "T" fitting adapter to use both an oil pressure sender unit and the oil pressure switch.

I know that the sender I am using is 1/8" NPT but need the spec for the 3.2L oil pressure switch.

Best regards

The service manual shows the switch is facing upwards, angled towards the passenger side, right in front of the engine block. The oil filter housing bolts on right in front of the housing where the switch is mounted. It should be easy to find and remove so you could measure it, in case no one answers with the exact size.

Here's the link to the picture and part number (it's #14). You could call the dealer and ask them to measure it, but my experience with some parts people is that you might not get the right measurements.

Thanks Ron,

I was just inquiring to see if someone had previous experience of fitting a true gauge instead of that Idiot Light.

At the price that they are selling the switch, I might buy one to measure it and figure it from there.

Best Regards
