Offroad / Track version Downpipe
Anyone interested in a catless downpipe version that would look like this?
Both the HART Honda Accord and THR TL are running catless systems.
OEM version:

You can see the hidden horsepower in the design of the original equipment...
Corsa Exhaust out of Ohio manufactured the one for the HART Accord team and probably looks very similar to the one pictured in the first post, which is what the THR TL is utilizing.
I'm sure if maybe around 10 people are interested in something like this, Corsa wouldn't mind making a small batch for us if we luck out.

Not sure how much a version like this would cost. I might try and call Corsa in the morning and see if they would be interested in making a batch.

I have a catless jpipe/Header b4 but it was way too loud and so I only had it for two week the exhaust is extremely vibra and becuase there no cat so the header blow two of my o2 sensor so now my engine check light is on(code 0155 & 0135) but it was a good exhaust tho, improved alot on 3k rpm to 6k rpm and only did I race with a alitma SER on the freeway keep pulling after I got to 80ish mph but the important thing you guy have to worry about is the low tq, Im N/A I pretty much don't have low tq at all(feel like the car is stock @ low tq)

KenUA6 were you running defoulers on your o2's?

accuratein, if you get hooked up w one of these bad boys its gunna be faqing loud!!!! Its up to you to install one high flow cat such as a magnaflow spun convertor in the third cat position and run both downstream o2 sensor behind it and see if it will work. It should if you extend the harnesses to the rear of the cat. Dont cut the body side of the harness though if you do it just buy two new downstream o2's ( dealer cost is like $40 ea) and cut the o2 sensor side of the plug to extend them. Just a thought for ya and to keep the mil away (hopefully LOL)

I am confused about the need to do a full bolt on system
Couldn't you just get 2 four bolt flangs the same shape as those on the stock cats, and then have a test pipe like 2.5" diameter pipe going down to any random test pipe... A la richie v6 or atlp?
I don't think everyone would be down for the cost this setup will bring (easy 1k)
You would make it real affordable just to make the 2 primary cats with 4 defoulers built in, so we just swap out the first 2 only, go with our choice of jpipe and since atlp will have the optional 3rd cat removal it takes care of that
Imo this is the best most cost efficient setup, and with some heatshield it could pass visual, the actual test is a different story lmfao

Well actually now that ATLP has launched, maybe Mike could have something like this developed for those that might be interested.

Thanks for your inquiry. We appreciate your interest in our product but currently have no plans to offer the down-pipe you refer to for public sale. The part on the HART race car was developed specifically for them and is for off-highway/racing use only. It is not legal for use in most states.
