I think 100 may be a bit much, 75 would be better to step up to, remember that the TL doesn't have that strong of internals. Are you running wet or dry kit?

From out resident NOS expert who I've already asked to come in and comment:
Ok OK OK. I gotta free minute lol. Cant run a dry on our cars (3gTl) due to the design of the fuel supply system. Wet is the only way to do it correctly. The principles of a dry system do not even apply to the 3g tls so I wont get into it. If you have a dry system installed best of luck to you. Wont be too long before you are crying the blues. Zex is the way to go. Decreases fuel as bottle pressure drops to keep N20 to Fuel ratio consistent with jetting. Stoich of Nitrous/fuel is different than just fuel so be careful. Tune your wet system with 14.7 in mind and youll have a bad day too. As far as benefits... I have a Zex system with some other odds and ends and I put down almost 310 WHEEL HP and about 270 tq (auto trans). While its no 10 second car, I can have a little luxury and be a serious contender on the street. Shoulda seen the look on the guy in the SRT8s
face when I drove by him on the highway. That is priceless. 10 bottles later and only 6k on my clock...I musta done something right.

You're either lying, don't know that you have a wet system, or you're the luckiest person alive.
A dry system is shot into the MAF sensor and the MAF, due to the cold richens the mixture. Our cars do not have a MAF sensor. How exactly are you getting the extra fuel?
Do you have pictures of the setup?
Even with a wet system on a 100 shot, you're going to need 100 octane to make it live at that level with our high compression. Have you upgraded the fuel pump?

exactly, switch to a wet system. The TL's fuel delivery system is not meant for a dry shot of nos. Racinghart03 should be chiming in by tomorrow...

Do you remember the mph? That will be a good indicator of the power you're making.
And it's good that you actually ran it at the track. No one around here actually takes the car to the track.
I think with tuning you will be fine on a 100 shot. If the supercharger adds 70whp and takes 25-30hp to spin, it's adding 100hp worth of stress to the engine and they seem to be pretty reliable.
The big difference in nitrous is that it add tons of torque and cylinder pressure if you hit it at too low of an rpm which will make it detonate and kill parts. With all of the safety features, at a minimum a WOT switch and a window switch, plus tuning, it should live a fairly happy life. Just be prepared to pull timing and go to a colder plug, or run 100 octane when you plan on spraying the larger shot.
