I could be wrong but I remember someone saying that you can only run up to a 600w AMP with the stock sized pulley

If you are running the Ultra S underdrive pulley then you it is not recommended to run a stereo system larger than 600 watts RMS. If you are using hte Ultra Sc pulley (stock size; no underdrive) then there will be no underdrive and you have no limit on the stereo system wattage.

The stock size pulley is for the guys with S/Cers or larger stereo systems. The underdrive pulley slightly underdrives the accessories but nothing that you will notice unless you have a stereo system over 600 watts RMS or a supercharger. That being said, you can run the stock size pulley if you want. It won't hurt anything.

Does that 600W RMS limit include the stock stereo? So i am not recommended to get a 500W RMS sub w/ amp?

Is there an Ultra Sc for a 04-06 TL? On the Unorthodox website they only list up to 03's.

There is a stock sized pulley for the 04+ TL's from Unorthodox. I have a non-boosted TL with the Ultra Sc pulley on it, and the pedal feel is MUCH increased. If you're in tune with your vehicle, you'll notice the pedal response increase noticably. For the money, I definately think it's worth it.

The Ultra Sc (stock sized) will work fine with any stereo power. Basically, if you've boosted your stereo in any way, you might want to consider keeping the stock size on the pulley. Underdriving won't increase your power enough to make up for possibly underpowering your stereo... better safe than sorry, imho.
