Hello all. New member here. Prospective TL owner. I was looking at a rsx-s but I am now leaning towards a 6 speed TL. I just have a couple of performance related questions. I have read through the stickies but I was wondering what reputable vendors you guys use for the CT catback and AEM cold air intake? I would purchase both. I also was going to look into the RV6 j-pipe, I could figure out where to buy that haha. I was also wondering what type of gains you guys think I might see with a setup like this? Still looking for the manual 3G because its hard to find a manual, maybe its just me? I also was wondering if you guys have a good place to get body/lip kits. I'm not looking to make it look crazy but maybe the a-spec front air dam or similar front lips I've seen that are subtle but look good? Thanks for any advice/help at all.

 

Sounds like you are into performance. And let me tell you, go with RSX-S. I love driving my little bro's RSX-S to a point where I almost want to sell my S/C'd TL. It has so much more potential than our TL. Plus, the 3G TL is more of a luxury car (heavy ass, entry-level luxury family sedan) and to have a manual transmission defeats that purpose. Makes it feel and seem like a cheap vehicle. Also, if you do pick up a TL... make sure you get Navi. That goes back to it wouldn't be a luxurious vehicle without one. But that's just my opinion.

Both are official AZine vendors. Gains from I/J/CBE will be mediocre at best. I would add Pre-cat deletes and third cat delete/straight pipe to have complete free flow.

 

Look at the vendors section. Excelerate or heal toe for aftermarket TL stuff and prestige Acura for anything OEM, he is running a really good deal on everything. His screen name is wholesale parts guy.
