Alright, so I have an OBX Cat back exhaust system on my 2005 Acura TL Base model. It sounds great, it has a nice deep rumble when I drive, but I want to make it louder. Right now, I just have the catback and everything else is stock. It still has the resonators. Should I replace the resonators with a different pipe? If so, which pipe should I replace it with? Lastly, I still have a stock J pipe on there. would getting a jpipe from xlr8 or atlp or rv6 do anything? Which would you recommend, I am pretty new to modding. Thanks in advance!

you need an intake . I have one for sale that will make your car loud

Jpipe will give you a nice power band but it doesn't really change the noise of the car.

 

What kind of intake is it? And how much louder will it make my car? My exhaust will sound the loudest at about 3500 RPM and then itll go quiet after that. I want something that'll be heard throughout the whole rev. Yknow? Also, would you recommend taking out the resonators?

 

it might sound raspy if you take the resonator totally off. maybe wait for it to break in?

here what my intake looks like. it is loud when you get on it but chill when you are cruising. it has the port to relocate the IAT sensor to the intake so it reads cooler. My car turbo now so that is why i am selling it.
