Need 4 people to buy 3G Fujita CAI

I found a seller who's welling to the Fujita CAI for 3g TL's for a good price. I bargain it down to $165 shipped (48states) If anyone is interested, please add your name. I am not trying to make any money on this. I just want to save some money like what most college students will do. You will be sending the money directly to him, not me.

We'll call this a mini mini group buy and allow you to see if you can get your 4 people.

Do not post the name or location of the seller until you get your 4 names, and then you can post the contact information and make your purchases.

If it looks like we are getting a lot of people interested we may have to amend the rules for this group buy.

Please send me the contact information by PM.

Dude - You DO NOT need a group buy to get one EVEN cheaper. Me and a LOT of guys on here only paid $150.00 INCLUDING all shipping TO OUR DOOR. Do a search to learn where to get them.

Kindly assist then, please. I see cardomain offered a special in Oct., which has expired. Ebay produces $184 + freight. Did a google. I don't see a better buy.
As they say: "SHOW IT TO ME".

Are they still using an oil filter? I really think AEM did a great job on the dry-flow filter and would be a bit weary about using oil filters now.

Why? I've used K&N since 1998, and never had a problem.
I assume that's "leary"?

Guys, I NEVER lie... I'll strecth the truth every now and again but this particular detail is 100% truthfull. Sorry, I've just been SUPER busy with work lately and had not checked this thread (If ever in doubt, PM me as it has a better chance of getting to me than a post in a thread I may or may not get back too).

OK, here's the skinny. The original seller was a guy on eBay. He would put up a price like $185 Or Best Offer (shipping included). Me and a number of other guys bought from him about a year ago. But I just checked ebay and found him still on there. His ebay id is jdm-in-stock. Here is a link to his $194.95 OBO offer where a guy bought a Fujita for $150 as his "Best Offer" on Dec 12th, 2007 (shipping was FREE!). So, even though mine was over a year ago, it is still possible as recently as 7 days ago so go out there and GET ONE and stop this fuddling with the group buy stuff. Hope this helps!!!

Frigg'n 5 minute limit...LOL.. The cone-style filter is NOT Oil-based on these Fujita's. The auction quoted above was for a Yaris but it really does not matter. The "Best Offer" style auctions as well as the $194.94 "target" price is similar to the Fujita auctions he runs for the TL's. If you don't see it listed on eBay, you could probably email him an offer. Tell him you heard from ndabunka that I and a number of others had bought theswe from him in the past for this price and see if he could repeat the offer for you. You never know, the advertisement value he gets off having this on this site in itself may be enough for him to become an authorized vendor.

To the mods - The reason I did not list the reference in the beginning was because I didn't want to "advertise" for a non-paying vendor. Since you said it was OK, I pointed in the right direction. Now, everyone is happy, right?

There's no need to go to ebay. If I get 4 buyers I can do $165 shipped to the lower continental US. FUJITA is running a sale at the moment so I can do this. Get a list of 4 guys and then send payment to excelerate@sbcglobal.net via Paypal and specify what you're ordering and for what car and I can make it happen. I need all the payments by Friday, the 21st.

that guy is my rival lol, but i dont think he can be an authorized vendor because there are Fujita intakes already being sold on here and it would create competition which i think is against the forum rules

As stated above, I do try to respect the authorized vendors (like Excelerate and you as well if you are authorized but don't show it in your avatar). That was one of the reasons I initially with-held the link. However, one of the forum mods actually encoraged me to post it, and so I did. I'm all for playing on a fair playing field and am VERY seriously considering getting a set of the comptech springs directly from Excelerate so you KNOW I don't want to piss him off and have him veto my spring chances , right?

If the mods want to edit my above ^^^ to protect the regular vendors here I have no problems with that what-so-ever. Just trying to "share what I know" if it can benefit others.

I removed the link and now that our vendors are offering their products at reduced prices (ain't competition a lovely thing?) I think it's time to just close this thread and let people deal directly with our vendors.
