Where did you get your headrests? Do you have a monitor for the front passengers?

I'm curious about the rear seat LCD panels. I assume this was a custom installation into the existing headrest, right? Could you provide some details and costs? How are you feeding the video?

Heyyy. hmmm. can you take a picture of those NOS bottles. They look identical to the NOS BAzooka Subwoofer tubes. Doubting it.... But hey.. nice setup by the way. But prove me wrong.

I'm glad someone did this as I am adding nitrous on mine in about two weeks.

What shot did you use?? I was thinking of a 100 shot-but did anyone advise you differently?

How did you set up activation-is it by your gas pedal at full throttle or do you have a button to add the nitrous?

What other mods do you have?-My car will have comptech exhause and injen CAI prior to NOS.

Do you find it hard to control the front wheels with NOS engaged?

Thanks for your reply.

they're the real thing, if you look carefully at the front picture, you'll see the nitrous coming out from the purge line right under the "A" emblem; and also look carefully at the bottle guage, you can actually see the bottle pressure.

A friend of mine at Precision Sounds here in brentwood did the headrests'. The video is feeding through the DVD player we have in the center armrest in the backseat and going through an avelectronic video switcher. Nav screen is my monitor for my passengers up front.

The nitrous is set up where i just hit a toggle switch and it cuts off my cruise control on the steering wheel...once this is done, the following buttons work like this:

Cruise button - activates solonids
Volume down - sprays nitrous
Trunk button - purges system

Can you please comment on front end drift with the system on?? Do you use NOS only at highway speeds or have you used it from a dead stop?? Are you able to get the extra power on the ground with the system on or are you experiencing alot of wheelspin?? Sorry for all the questions but you are the first person that I have run across with NOS in the TL. Thanks for your reply..

I don't see why you'd want to use it from a dead stop.

I'm impressed with the video system installation. I still have a couple questions for you if you don't mind. What size, brand and model are the video screens? It looked like a tight fit even for the 5.8 screens but I was just eyeballing it. How are you running the audio for the audio, FM modulator, headphones?

Looks very clean. The system looks very nice, along with the screens. I also have a question about the screens in the headrest, you say they are run by the avelectronics video thing. Does your front navi screen also run off of that too? Can you play one dvd in the front and another in the back headrests?

Screens in the headrests' are 7". They're off-brand, i really dont know the exact brand because my friend did it for me, but the picture quality is great! The sound is running through a FM modulator...soon to be upgraded right through the factory headunit.

The navi screen also runs through that unit...if i was to add another video source such as PS2, xbox etc. then i'd be able to watch something different on each screen.

What Teins setup do you have on it? And how is the handling/ride? Good work on the NOS/Entertainment.

i don't know if you took offense or what, but i was being serious... i once had the idea to install a purge kit and put nozzles near the front bumper openings, just to purge... kinda like this...

so i dont know what anything has to doing with believing and putting my money where my mouth is...

You never mentioned what shot of NOS you are using? I.E. 40, 60, 80, 100 horse power?? (or I missed it..) Did your kit come with multiple fuel and NOS jets to select the HP shot?

Thanks

well...when I first put the kit in I had it jetted for a 75shot running one bottle...i put the second bottle in and bumped it up to approximately 100-125shot. Won't know exactly what its doing until I get it on the dyno.

I know someone else is doing the install but detail on how you are going to run it through the head unit would be great. I'm planning a similar install and from what I have read and seen integration into the factory head unit is damn near impossible. I was goingo to end up with quite a few RCA switches. Thanks.
