Is my exhaust hurting performance?

My new setup will be RV6 Hi flow precats, RV6 V3 J-pipe, then into a magnaflow resonator. Behind the magnaflow resonator is stock piping with magnaflow mufflers. Is the stock piping at the back of the exhaust keeping it from its full potential?

yes.

if everything is 2.5 and then your stock exhaust is 2.25, wouldnt you say so?

however; I dont think you can feel it.

I am running PCDs, rv6 jpipe and stock exhaust...and I'm still pretty quick...
I'm in line for the rv6 true dual exhaust that should help, but again; I dont think you can tell by freeing up the last part of the exhaust

it takes about 30hp to "feel" in a 3500lbs car.
a catback exhaust will free up about 10hp.

so, if you have the funds go ahead and order a catback exhaust or get a mandrel bent custom set up.
if not; dont worry about the 10hp that you could "potentially" free up.

^ he always gives the best advice! id leave it the way you got it. if you like the sound and are happy just leave it alone. you have the hi flow cats and jpipe so you have added some hp there.

Hurting, no. You still have a power gain over stock by touching the other stuff. Full potential? Also no, you still flow more exhaust than stock but you could flow more with larger piping.

Short pipes go so fast! I only have 2.25" of exhaust, sounds like a race car.
