Just thought I would make a post. I have a 2007 type S, stick shift. I had an AEM cold air intake installed as well as some exhaust work up to but not including the mufflers. Car sounds awesome, not like the civics with the big tail pipes, but a deep throaty sound, almost sounds like a v8. Good thing is sounds pretty normal at idle, but step on it and it's music. I saw a new Nissan 350 z on the freeway speeding confidently along--he gave me the look ! He started out about 2 cars ahead of me when traffic cleared. I was at 80mph, and dropped into 4th and stepped on it. I passed him pretty quickly and he gave up just as quickly--he had a look on his faced like I just stole his girlfriend. I had not raced one prior so I don't know what the results would have been b4 the mods, but i feel a definite difference. Also smacked a g35 coupe pretty good. Looking for a g37 and lexus IS 350 for a bigger benchmark--will let you know. I try to race on highway instead of from a start due to front wheel drive.

P.S. I guess it went to my head a little because I raced an AMG Mercedes and was dusted. But hell I am still happy.

 

oh man the 6.3 amg, one of those dueled with me, I let off at 135mph he kept on going
