Modding ecu?
Has anyone modded the ECU?
I am looking for something to increase horsepower, and torque but keep gas mileage the same or better, and have the same reliability?
I know for BMW'S and such their are lots out their, and they even offer a warranty to back the product.
Let me know yall!

J series is honda code for its V6 engines.
K series is the code for MOST honda 4 cylinders. K24 (or 2.4 liters) is in the TSX. K20 (2.0) is in the RSX.
Still there is no ECU mods for our cars. Hondata specializes in ECU reflashes and standalone ECUs for the K series and B series motors.

A little birdie has told me that Hondata is working on something possibly FlashPro support for the Type S ecu since Honda no longer uses Motorola ecu's in there cars. The new ecu's are flashable. I think the growing aftermarket support with the new turbo coming out and lots of demand has started to get them(Hondata) on the ball with this.
This is just what I heard.

It also depends on what you are looking for. I don't know what you can expect with an ECU only change without doing other things first. Obviously FI would need this and have good increases but tweaking NA may not be worth it the time/cost of dyno time.
