This is for a 3G TL? I think either would look ghetto honestly. My buddy had #1 on his WRX wagon and it looked and sounded decent, but the TL is not the kind of car that I think looks good with fart cans.

I already know a lot of people don't like fartcans on the tl. I've gone over that fact and I've boiled down my choice to either of these two.

Sjr.,

I say go #1 if these are your only two choices. But why HKS? Universal canister applications don't perform as well as model specific cat-backs.

Ok...it does save money, and it will look nice...but what about the little bit of performance that you could gain?

While I love my Greddy evo2's I just can't get into the single exhaust outlet. I'd say #2, but I'm hesitant to say either.

imma post some pics of #1... ups says it is out for delivery.... which means it should be at my doorstep anytime now...

as far as single exit... please don't just use stock tubing... I am going to make a thread detailing where I went and what work was done to the car...

go mandrel all the way... if you are also doing single exit... 70mm is ideal... but since we don't live in japan, the closest to that is 2.5"...

I have an aero 2.5" resonator part # ar25 (~$60 verocious motorsports)

Let me know how it sounds w/ that aero resonator! I'm planning to go resonator-less (2.5 straight pipe all the way), but if it's too loud, Im gonna stick one in there.

Is 1 more expensive than 2?

The CF is nice, but who will be able to see it? In my opinion if these are your options i would go with 2 if its less expensive but number 1 if the price is the same.

I will let you know how it sounds with the resonator... If I were you I'd install one just for the sake of your cellphone on the center console (vibrating hehehehehe)

Hmm... well I already have a dynomax resonator lying around for the stage 3 stock exhaust. Do you think that'd sound alright? Wait.... would it even fit? lol.

SoyBoys setup is insane. I've heard it in person and actually had a chance to drive his car. It basically sounds like a race car and has a very deep burble that turns into a roar as you push it anything past 1500 rpm.

In my first exhaust setup... I used a 2.5" dynomax... Total waste of time, did nothing
But I had gotten it for $20 so I didn't mind
