Larger Injectors

After reading through the bajillion pages on the FI threads... What if I were to put 310cc injectors in. I have only exhaust as far as performance mods. Will the larger injectors make a difference or not? I'm not sure exactly how they work, I just know the stock injectors work at 100% with FI, which is why people go with larger injectors.

exhaust isn't 10% of a chance of needing new injectors. When the car has enough horsepower to need fuel, the injectors feed that need. Your more then fine.

Thanks Ack I knew that though, I'm looking to gain a little more power. I just didn't know if by putting larger injectors in, it just allows more flow or increases flow, which I guess would increase power. I think I might've just answered my own question lol

You are fine, as ACK has stated.
Larger injectors with your setup will be counterproductive. It will dump more fuel in which you do not need.

So putting larger injectors in is only necessary when more fuel is required,i.e FI. It's not just a drop in mod to gain a little extra power shoot lol

Look at the basics of how engines work and it makes sense why just adding more fuel doesn't do anything:

An engine takes air + fuel in a certain ratio, makes it go boom, and that turns into energy.

With a forced induction setup, you are adding more air, which requires more fuel. So you will hit a wall when you run out of fuel (can't turn up the boost because the injectors are maxed out). Just increasing one won't net you any gains, they need to be done in conjunction.
