K&N filter

Question for you guys. I'm putting in a K&N filter in 07S. With the older cars, you had to disconnect the battery for a while and let it pick up the new air/fuel reading. On this car, being that the filter really is not going to make much difference (just doing it for better filtration/dust reasons), do I need to disconnect the battery or just drive it and let the computer take in the reading and adjust itself? Thanks.
