Hello everyone.

New to the forums, not new to the site. This site helped me make my decision just last week. I just picked up my '06 TL and I was wanting to add a replacement K&N filter. Previous car was an '03 TL Type S.

Question I have is... Am I assuming correctly that the '05 filter will be the same as the '06? I usually order my K&N's from Summit and they do not have a listing for the '06.

Also my '06 has 153 miles on it and I too have the "RATTLES" I have been reading about here. Talk about instant disappointment while driving home?

I'll deal with the rattles from other posts but I could not see a K&N thread.

Filter should be the same but please be aware that the improved air flow and less restriction of K&N Air filters comes with con's and that it is less efficient at protecting your engine from harmful dust particles.

Be specially carefull if you drive around dusty areas.
