Just resonator replacement?

So I am still curious as to what JUST the resonator being replaced with a dynomax resonator will do for my 06 tl?

how much louder does it make it?
will it be loud similar to an aftermarket muffler?
any horsepower gains?
what are the drawbacks pros and cons?

Please get back to me. I don't know why I have been on this site for more than 15 days and barley any replies, cant upload pics...and the emails are set to go to my email directly but they dont...someone help lol

Ok, man WTF! You were given links to step by step directions that answser EVERY question you asked and MORE (videos and sound clips)! You decide not to read and that is our fault. You really need to use the help given to you. Swapping the stock respnator for a Dynomax will do very little if you leave the mid-muffler. Delete the mid-muffler and swap the resonator for a Dynomax (part numbers given in other thread). This is called a stage 3 exhaust mod...

If you replace just the resonator and not anything else with the dynomax resonator (WLK-24215), than your exhaust sound will be very, very stock like. Not close to an aftermarket system at all. Just imagine the sound level of a stock TL and a stock G35. Now in the middle of that is how your setup should sound.

not much options in ottawa. anyways back on topic, i think you should delete your mid muffler and replace your OEM resonator with a dynomax resonator. check out some sound clips on youtube
