"I would hate to see you give up on the neon. I have done quite a few mods that i wish i wouldnt have done first. Im removing the CAI and going back to the stock intake box and using the aluminum piping for another project (1st gen custom intake manifold). It may be stressful, but it could be worse: you could be driving a Honda."
He has to be kidding!!

DO WHAT!!!!! My wife had 2 Neons, and I hated both of them. They where pieces of Crap. I would put a Honda against a Neon any day. Idiots!!!!!

This encryption may be the case, but if memory is mapped on the chip the op codes can be reverse engineered. This will decode the chip. We did this in engineering school. No big deal.
This is not rocket science and there are programs that will do this for you.

LOL...yea kinda funny. Even though I have a Neon (but I prefer to call it an SRT 4
)I find it funny that they were all excited about the 119HP. I found this link in my srt forums. My Neon has a bit more than the 119hp this guy has, mine is closer to 400WHP
i will cyber slap anyone who installs this on their 35 thousand dollar acura, seriously. sorry to sound rude, but anyone who does this, regardless of the gains, is stupid. their is so much computer bullshit in the tl that it would be crazy to put on something that some aftermarket company (Jet) made to modify the work of acura engineers for a few horses (which is dumping extra fuel into your car, and costing you extra money). if you wanted to do this, buy a used evo and mod the hell out of it. you will have lots more power than the tl, and the evo will break down regardless, so you dont have to worry about reliability.

I think this is definately not something anyone should consider, especially since hondata might be coming out with a reflash
what gave it away was
1. his politeness
2. he takes the time to capitalize the begining of his sentances, and puncuates
3. his vagueness (I feel a big difference with this product, that i bought from here...)
4. he joined the forums to say these few things (4 total posts)
5. he intentionally mis-spells obvious words to add realism
