Jet Performance Import Chip Upgrade

Has anyone tried Jet Performance Chip Upgrade on 3g TL?
I heard that it gives more hp/tq by either reprogram stock ECU or desolder the chip from ECU. If anyone tried this product, let me know, Thanks.

Isnt this essentially what Hondata was talking about doing? Perhaps it was in response to this product already on the market and seeing if it was a good market to get into and what gains were to be had? I do wish you had a before and after.....and what mods you have too.

Vendor websites are useless, I want to see real world numbers. I want a dyno of the car before the mod and a after with just that one mod. With atleast 3-5 runs of each. This is the only way we as consumers will really know if the product is doing what it says it can do. I personally am going to wait and get the Hondata when development is completed on it.

Who makes the better product. Since we know very little about one, and nothing about the other I think its a hard call!

Not saying this is a legitimate statement....BUT...this company here (Jetchip) makes the better product! (for 3G TL) Hondata has nothing yet...so there is no product there. You are right though....if it is worth coming out with...Hondata will do it right and give the impericle proof that it works at the same time. Who knows...maybe this works...maybe it is another scam.....no info on it....and their charts tell us nothing.

If it is a easy plug and play unit, take it off then do 3-5 dyno runs with the car, then reinstall it and do another 3-5 runs. Then post the results.

Does it feel like there is more pull at any certain point/range, like pulls a lot harder than stock at 2500-3000 rpms?

Historically, this company sells garbage, recall a finding that a chip they manufactured had no changes on it from stock, they stay in businees from guys like this meathead.

So yesterday night this guy is asking if anyone has used our heard of this product, then the next morning he has it installed already (lol) and it makes the car so much faster..... He mentioned he wasnt sure how the chip was put in, so he must not have taken it out, and it needs to be shipped to be re-programmed, then shipped back, (this was somehow accomplished overnight) Such BS its funny

ok heres the real deal with JET. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I recently had an RSX and many ppl on the clubrsx web site bought these chips to see what the hp/trq gain would be. And there was no surpise nothing looked different on the dyno's. There was a big confrentation when they confronted jet and were able to prove the chip did absolutley nothing and were told to keep quiet and they would recieve their money back. Well they didnt keep quiet and posted it all over the site. IF i can do a search and find it i will post it here. O
one last thing
DO NOT BUY JET!!!!

Well, from the quote, I can see the pic is called adminpower.gif...can only imagine what it is as good ol' work is blocking the pic...they've gotten quite strict as of late...Image Shack, many car forums, other image/web hosting sites... about half the stuff on here is a big red X for me now...I feel like Ray Charles

If you page back one...you will find a link to a thread in the RSX forum where they did try it over and over....proved it was bs...and then the company basically agreed to give them a refund IF they agreed to keep quiet. They didnt. They were selling nothing whatsoever....just taking money. A guy over there more or less proved that they reset nothing whatsoever that helped anything at all.

My understanding is that most of the major imports use strong encryption schemes on the ecu's. The majority of the work involved in creating a new chip are based on cracking the code. This encryption is done to prevent the theft of technology between competing companies - ie toyata's vvti and hondas vtec
