Sigh..search is your friend. There are about 50 threads on J-pipes. Richie's username is Richie V6 you can contact him either here or over at . I'm not the username of the ATLP creator, (sorry!). So far those are the 2 that come to mind, however Excelerate is also working on one to be done within 1-2 months. Hope that helped. Search next time

Richie V6 Pipe..
http://www.rv6-performance.com/

ATLP Pipe..
http://acuratlparts.com/products/2/

They both look very similar in design, although are miniscule differences.

Pick one

I think the differences are huge. Equal length runners with a smooth 2 into 1 transition will make more power.

even though they might not be exactly "equeal length" its not vital. it only makes a difference in the sound. the most important thing it the y pipe collector. i think thats the key advantage to mikes jpipe.

Equal length is important. Exhaust gases don't flow continuously, they flow in pulses from a given cylinder with a new pulse coming with each exhaust valve opening. Each pulse creates a point of high pressure traveling through a bank tube. Between each pulse the pressure is relatively low.

Equal tube length keeps the exhaust pulses from different cylinders from colliding in the collector. If the tubes are not equal length, the pulses can collide in the collector and increase back pressure.

Just a note on the ATLP pipe pictured above: that is painted after arrival. Mike's ATLP pipe comes in unpolished 439 Staniless Steel.

Here's a pic as manufactured (bottom, top is stock pipe):

i would agree if you were talking about headers. when it comes to a header, the trick is to have all the primaries the same size so all the individual exhaust pulses make it into the collector at the same amount of time. equal length is vital and you could always tell a good design to a bad one from the length of the primaries. since we dont have headers and the manifold is casted into the head, it doesnt matter. the pulses collide in a collector, which is at the top of the primary cats. so when the exhaust hits the jpipe, 3 pulses are mixed in together.

ive had several jpipe designs and this pipe gave me the same exact results as mikes, with the exception of the exhaust note. i didnt like it AT ALL.

^^ as you can see, its pretty much the same design, with the exception of the equal length primaries.
