Interchangeable throttle bodies

I want to start by saying I've looked through here for hours and ant find my answer.
What throttle bodies are the same as the 3g type s? Are all j35 throttle bodies the same size? Are there size differences between the car models? What size is the opening?

what do you mean? I know tl isn't dbw and the older j35 cars are which is why I ask which ones work cause I know some are cheaper than a tl type s throttle body like for a Honda Pilot. I got a type s intake manifold from the junkyard and want to do the throttle body to match but want the cheapest option possible if others are all the same size from other j35 equipped vehicles

Wait, I was under the understanding the J32A3 is in fact a DBW throttle. Did I get that wrong?

oh wait your right I was thinking of the completely wrong thing. Either way does anyone know a throttle body same size as 3g type s from a different car? It's going on a 04 tl with type s intake manifold

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but my understanding is the J32A3 in your car and the J35A6 in the 2005-2006 Odyssey (lower two trims only) and in the 2005 Honda Pilot are completely interchangeable, so I would assume the throttle bodies are as well.

So I have a 04 with the j32a3 I'm putting a 2007 tl type s intake manifold on and I want a throttle body from a 2007-8 tl type s so I want to know what cars have same throttle body as a type s. I already have and extra from a base tl but from my understanding type s is larger so I want one of them

I have checked all j series cars at my local junkyard and they are all cable throttle or off of a base tl so I'm not going to be able to measure so it trying to find out which car is the same so I can buy it online since the type s is one of the more expensive j35 throttle bodies one eBay around $90 and I can find fro mother cars for around $50-60 just don't want to buy the wrong one

I'm pretty sure the TBs are the same size as stock j32a3/j30a4. The upgraded TB size is on the 3.7L motors and TL-SHAWD which is 4g not 3g.

Pretty sure it depends on which end/area you're measuring from. the 65/68 size is everything before the J37 or SHAWD 2012 TL TB. That model is 78/80mm IIRC. They're venturi from the factory, smaller on the outlet and larger on the inlet so, depends on where you measure. nonetheless, they're all the same size from the 03 accord to the 08 TLS

I recently swapped a used J32 (07 TL Base) throttle body onto my J35A8 to try and troubleshoot some minor issues with my car.

I have the original J35 throttle body in my trunk and can measure it if that would help. I'm also 99.9999% sure they are identical from J32 to J35.

I actually got a guy on eBay to send me pics of the inlet and it was 67-8mm so I measured my extra base model and it was same so I think the difference was the outlet on both is 64-5mm and inlet is 67-8mm and I was thinking people were saying the type s inlet was 67 or 8mm and base was 64 or 5mm but I can confirm they are the same so now I'm just trying to decide if it's worth sending to maxbore or not since I'm not touching my type s intake manifold for now anyways
