I cant seem to find a definitive answer, is there any gain to be had, putting a J32A2 intake manifold and runners on a J32A3? It has the butterflys removed and mounts for them taken out. The A2 seems a bit longer and taller, and is not one piece like the A3. I got it as part of a lot, so if its useless to me, I may just sell it.

I believe the A2 throttle body is cable driven and ours is electronic.

 

The EGR boss from the manifold to the runner is different also. You could change the manifold and runners together, but then the boss on the head is different also. Plus your fuel rails won't bolt up and you'll need to buy an adapter for the TB to make yours work on an older manifold.
