Intake mani question
thats the dual stage manifold ....at low end, below 3k, it stays closed, dividing the im into 2 seperate plenums, for efficient lowend torque...at high end it opens up turning the IM into one big plenum...it has like a boost effect for the high end allowing more air around the plenum. Leave it alone...if it opened somewhere high, like where vtec engages, then yes, but it opens at 3-3.2k....once after that, its always open, at every gear shift, its always open.
