Installed CAI and now gettin emission message

I just got AEM CAI installed and after i entered my nav codes i get a message. When i open it, it's a emission message saying there is something wrong with my emission and how it will affect my driving, hard starts, poor MPG, ect....and i should take it to the dealer to check it out. No lights just the message. My installer (its a local tunning shop) told me that the system takes a coupe of days to adjust to the intake and there is nothing wrong. My question is will it goes away after a coupe of days of driving?

2008 TL-S
Thank you

Just leave it be. It'll go away in a couple of days. Actually, if you have the option, just delete the message and if you have a CEL, the CEL will go away after a certain amount or time and/or miles.

You have to disconnect a sensor during install. That causes a fault (i.e. the car think the sensor stopped working). It takes a little time for the error to clear.

I think that if you disconnect the NEG battery terminal BEFORE you start the install, you avoid the code because the car doesn't know the sensor gets disconnected.

nothin to worry about, I just installed a cai on my 08 base tl and had a CEL light also. I didnt disconnect the battery while installing. the orange light dissappeared after drivin the car for about 5-10 miles.

at first I thought I had to reset my ecu so I did it using the key in ignition method. the ecu reset, but the CEL was still on, but went away about 30 mins later

just disconnect your battery for 10 mins, and let the ecu reset if it's still not gone.
