Insane raspiness...please help!

So I have an 07 tl-s automatic and I just finished with my PCD's install, and Holly crap the rasp above 5k rpms.
I have a unresonated xclr8 quad catback and rv6 v3 j-pipe.
I don't want to get rid of the PCD's because the power gaines are so noticible.
Should i install a resonator in the exhaust, would this help?
If so which kind or brand?

Vibrant resonators do good for how small you can get them.

install a resonator to fix the rasp
magnaflow 10436

P.S. there are tons of threads on this.

P.S.S most resonators get rid of rasp.
pick one either the vibrant or magnaflow and install it.

check out this thread someone recently posted about rasp and drone. they went with magnaflow 12640 which is bigger but not necessarily the best choice if you are slammed. i currently have the 10436 even though i only have HFPCs and it definitely helped

Run the biggest resonator you can fit, it won't affect flow or cut much volume.

Local muffler shop has 18" dynomax 4" round resonator with 2.5" outlets. This should be about same specs as the 10436 magnaflow. Dropping off monday morning.

Be aware that both Dynomax mufflers I've used resulted in a tinny, metallic noise at certain RPMs. I wouldn't buy from them again.

i would go with something larger, you will still have rasp with that size. the 10436 is 22" by 4", the one you are gettting is like the 10426.

the 12640 is a 6" one and much bigger. i would re-consider getting the dynomax one, magnaflow is way better and you will need to at least get 4" by 22"

I agree, as large as you can fit to reduce the rasp!
