Injen CAI help

Well I went for the install on my own and followed this guys guide here
. Everything went fine until I got to the part when switching hoses around. At about 4:18 in the video i removed everything like he said. I have a 2006 MT. But, I also have a hose that looks like its coming from the firewall. Not sure where this goes. I took a picture. Any help would be appreciated.

He says to remove this part completely

, so do you put the part back? Once you reconfigure the hoses.
