Injen CAI Filter Quality???
Injen CAI Filter Quality???
I was looking under my hood today and decided to take a peek at the cleanliness (or lack there of) of the intake. I changed my oil not too long ago and I looked at the stick and the oil seemed fairly dark for the short amount of time its been in there.
So I took out the rubber (breather hole) that connects from the pipe to the engine. Stuck my pinky in there and it was dirty. You can even see a line of dirt inside the rubber where the air starts. Is the Injen filter of good quality? doesn't seem like its filtering enough dirt.
I know some of you may suggest to get the new dry AEM intake filter but from what I hear, it lets a good amount of dirt though as well. Some people have had complaints about that too....
Anyone suggest a good filter that keeps it clean?

So I also share your concern, as I plan on keeping my car for a long time and like to keep the engine clean ... without suckin' in extra crap.
