The slots should face the front of the car. On a rotor with straight vanes though you could technically run it the other way and get a longer life on the pad but it wouldn't help in cutting into the pad to keep it from glazing over.

And yes Blackuras are on the right way.

I really haven't gone thru a real winter with these... '07-'08 will be the first... however, I think, summers here in the BX and worse than winters... 'cause if you make a turn into any side street... there's a hydrant open.... They are holding up just fine...

Hahaha I know exactly what you mean, I swear hydroplanning on a 85 degree sunny day is hilarious...

how about those grease spots by car washes too... grease goes all over, I did a 180 infront of car wash by the 161 bridge... course it was on purpose but still

$ varies based on model. Also whether slotted or combo (slotted & drilled).

A lot of people argue that it doesn't matter, one tuner guy I know swears that the slots should face the other way because of the caliper orientation, anyways that's how I got 'em on my car and I believe this is correct! Prove me wrong please

mine face forward too. I would think that it wouldn't slow the car down any faster without them facing forward where the rotor slots could "dig" into the pads. Just seems they would keep sliding the opposite way

It is important the slots face forward on the BBK's, otherwise the curved vanes would be backwards.
