How should I go about building custom catback?

I decided I want to have a custom magnaflow cat back with magnaflow mufflers and magnaflow resonator.

Mufflers http://m.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-...FShk7Aod208AQw

Resonator http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=10436

My stock piping is rusted and not worth using. If I bring the mufflers and resonator will a shop be able to fabricate a cat back for me? How much labor am I looking at?

Need more information. If you want performance and loud then 3'' mid pipe to dual, 2.5'' with a magnaflow on each side.

If you don't care much for performance and don't want to loud then I would get the biggest resonator you can fit with the biggest muffler you can fit in the back. You could also get a hfc to help tone it down more if you get rid of your stock 3rd cat.

I currently have rv6 hi flow pre cats with an rv6 jpipe which eliminates the third cat. The mufflers and resonator I posted are the exact ones I'm looking to use. The resonator is 22inches long which completely eliminates rasp. So I guess I'm more asking about piping and A ballpark price for a shop to fabricate it.

I just came across this website that sells piping so all I would need is the mufflers and resonator and flange to bolt up to the j pipe. Does this seem like the best option or should I have a shop make me one?

instead of asking a bunch of people from all over the world why don't you call a couple local exhaust shops, tell them what you have and want done, and do some cost comparisons on mocking things up? i could tell you $1000, someone else could tell you $50 - but neither of us are the shop or individual doing the work so guessing a cost online is quite irrelevant

Alec, welcome to AcuraZine. But you only get to ask the same question once!

Cheers...........

when i did my muffler replacement, the toughest part is the muffler placement/fitment. The way the oem placement is angled as well as the slanted opening makes for a challenging configurations. It looks like you'll need tips with those universal mufflers, fitting duals/quads is a bit tricky for reason stated above. I'd say that's where most of your labor cost will be do it right. The mid-pipe and y-pipe most shop can fab up and throw the resonator in the middle with moderate ease. Only an exhaust shop can give you an accurate pricing.
