How do you change the filter when u have a CAI?

can i get some help here guys. a little while back i installed a CAI and i havnt cleaned the filter though yet. what is the easiest way to remove the CAI to take the filter off. Im not sure because you have to remove the front bumper off when you install it. Im pretty sure i dont have to do that again and i really would rather not. pics would help i installed it myself so i think ill know what you guys will be talking about if you describe it.

i mean, the front bumper takes 15 mins or less(if you're good.)

or you could cut the wheel to the opposite side and reach into the wheel well.

^this

or

just detach the driver side without removing the entire front bumper and you should have plenty of room to remove the filter.

You should just be able to remove the filter only by going in through the wheel well. Just turn the wheel all the way to the right and peel back the plastic lining in the wheel well. Why are you trying to remove the entire CAI?

Losen the coupler at the throttlebody and losen it up from the mounting points so you can turn it down and take the filter off to clean it .

I didn't even take off the bumper to install mine .. I removed the front wheel and a few clips and pulled the fender liner down some ... same thing I do when I clean the filter ..

I bought a cleaning solution last time I cleaned my AEM, but next time I'm just going to use a simple green mix or something.

I use the AEM kit to clean it .. wasn't expensive and I'm not willing to risk other soaps or APCs damaging the media or other parts of the filter.
