Hi all... I know Hondata as we all know it take forever. But I just placed my order for my comptech supercharger price of $3650 shipped... anyways... I plan to have C&C auto a good friends shop put it in within the next two weeks... Recently I have been talking to my dyno/tuning shop which Hondata uses to dyno/tune, reflashes etc... Anyways my dyno/tune owner talked to Doug owner of Hondata and they are very close to for sale to the public. Got most of the little crap stuff out and just to fine tune it for the public. They have the 04/05 auto and stick covered, and the 06 doug from hondata, along with my dyno/tune shop will make sure its all good. We all just want it to be for sale already, and enough of the be be hehe.. But its a for sure thing I myself will get my reflash done since Hondatas team will make sure its good on my car.

it would probably be better if people stopped making hondata threads until there was a product. some of the members are pretty passionate about the amount of time it has taken for something to emerge. its better to not give them another opportunity to embarrass themselves

Anyways, is Hondata planning to come out for a reflash for the high boost pulley as well? I believe since they are doing it, might as well make one for the high boost pulley! Everyone just want more power!

Hi. I just did this post to let everyone know whats going on with hondata and mostly 'my car'... For hondata to come out, thats old news... But for hondata to work on my car is new. Dont know the exact date they will work on it since I need to put the supercharger in 1st then work on hondata. I just hope hondata will not need my car for 3+ days since I need it everyday and this will put a space between me and hondata as far as setting aside 3+ days without my car. I just hope they can reflash it on the spot. I know they are on target each time with the tsx model. each year, each tranny type etc...
If your going to say negative things I rather not hear it since I have heard it on your other hondata post. I just want to let you all know what I plan to do.
I will ask them about the high boost pulley, but I would assume they would need a car with the high boost pulley for the reflash something I will not do as of right now.

Note....if you dont want negative comments...dont post it on AZ cause thats what you are gonna get mixed with the other positive ones. Once you go public with it....its out there to be beat up on. Know this up front before you post it. Not knocking you...just telling you what experience has taught me. Loose lips sink ships.

 

You don't need to be writing about this on a public forum just yet. I know all about the reflash, and most people on here have heard about it from the few people that might have been somewhat involved, but Hondata has a strict development policy. It's in place for a reason.

Here is their policy.

"We will not comment on future products or work in progress with regards to features, release dates or any other information.

While we accept that this can be frustrating to some vehicle owners, past experience has shown us that the premature release of information has a strong negative effect on our work here at Hondata."

This can be read on their forum.

Please, don't ruin it for them or any of the future customers. Be quiet and do your thing until it's public and ready for people to buy.

I have done a lot of work with Hondata in the past, and i can tell you first hand that they don't like it when the people they are working with run their mouths.

^ - In all fairness, for the past couple weeks you have been talking up hondata every chance you get.

 

while that may be true, he was talking about hondata w/ regards to making an ECU that would be compatable w/ a turbo charger. Plus, i think it was more in reponse to people questioning the companies that he'd be going to for the making of said turbo.

 

Understood, but i have not disclosed anything about testing or anything else regarding the release of anything. Talking up a company has nothing to do with disclosing whats going on behind the scenes. I have been very careful about what i have said. Almost vague at times for a reason.

ok. give me the negative feedback. I love it, but it would be nice to throw some postive in also. To be honest if I could not get the hondata I will have the shop I go to wire up the e-manage and go tune. Alot more work to tune the emanage.
The shop for dyno/tune I go to did not tell me to keep my lips closed so I wont.
I know for a fact I will get hondata, that all that matters. I thought by posting some people will be saying let us know how it goes etc.
I guess I was wrong.. sorry..
I guess you should forget all the post I said about hondata and just remember and never forget this...

^ - some of the other members have a reflash as well...its been discussed and the general consensus is to not post anything about it until its released to the general market

 

mmcv6: I hope everything goes well with the reflash. I hope you can report that it eliminates the surging. Others will have it soon, so theres no reason to be cocky about it.

Good luck on the Hondata. I can't wait till it actually comes out, but I doubt they would have the reflash for the comptech supercharger with the high boost pulley.

I might have to end up hooking up the E-manage ultimate and tune it myself.

 

yes I know some others have the reflash. I myself am not trying to be cocky, but it looks like others dont care so I tried to throw it in a different direction. Oh well.... This is a message board so if I want to tell people whats going on with hondata I can. This is not area 51 or whatever you want to call it. its just hondata.

Yes, you can post whatever you want to about your personal automotive deals - no one here except for the mods and admins can really do anything about that. The point is the hondata scenario has been discussed so many different times. Its easiest if there are no new threads about what is going on until the actual product is for sale. All the responses are the same and it is just repetitive.

I know you are working the s/c - reflash angle, which isn't gotten as much attention, but there are still plenty of threads dealing with the topic and the same members chime in each time.
