Dom is the man!! Guy is a real stand up guy and very legit as a tuner for the TL. He’s about to retune my car again since I’m adding lightweight pulley and IM spacer

Justin I didn’t know you were getting tuned?!! How big was your smile when you just pulled and pulled thru the now missing vtec dip?

LOL, all I know is that I was leaning out in the upper RPM's. Dom fixed that and now the car pulls hard all the way to 7k.
honestly, I'm in love with the car and how it drives!!
The car always displayed quirky nuances, whether it be vtec dip, rev hang, etc... Just frustrating to drive everyday.

FlashPro with Dom's tuning has made the car more enjoyable!!
(I had just gotten flashpro on Thanksgiving, so I'm relatively new and still logging, and the mod bug has bitten me and I want to further mod the car with go fast goodies)

You have PCD right? I feel my car falling flat, i think i need to remove the primary cats. my current set up is ATLP V2-R, 3in pipe to ATLP exhaust. Either my oxygen sensors are done or i need to remove them and get a tune... any help appreciated from anyone.

Where in the powerband is it falling flat? Do you have a video of your setup? I'd like to hear how it sounds.

Can you not rev past 4k RPM? are you auto?
yes, I have PCD's and jpipe; but I couldnt actually feel it leaning out...once I started to data log, is when Dom pointed out the fuel trims

once he starts pointing it out you can definitely pinpoint it in the way the car drives...when it bogs it's rich, when it feels like metal on metal it's lean...
weird but Justin knows what I'm saying.

No video. I added a resonate bc the drone was annoying, sounds reasonable now. Maybe flat is not the word. Just seems sluggish performance wise, as if there is a hesitation or its clogged. I think its an oxygen sensor but i don't have a check engine light.

Good-luck on your build. Good to see you are also keeping up on maintenance as well as modding.

I can rev, its just seems sluggish. Auto and just turned 80k miles. never replaced any sensors. did all the preventative maint on tranny; doesn't feel light its tranny related. Cleaned throttle body, maybe i need to do it again and/or a better job. Replaced air filter. How do you check for a bad oxygen sensor. if i need to replace, may as well remove with HFPC.

the 5 speed automatic transmission is very archaic, it's gearing is strange and 4th gear will feel like a wall.

the 02 sensors, if faulty should activate a CEL. there are some cases where the 02 sensors get lazy (electrical impedence falls out of range) but that would cause or people have noted bad fuel mileage

Why is the gearing so weird on our Autos? I've been having a concern that the odd(not so smooth) gearing will degrade the tranny faster after installing a turbo/supercharger. I've read that our trannys(07-08) will hold up to 450WHP, But for how long? And what if you are mostly point n squirting?

Must I always keep the Hondata plugged into the OBD2 port for it to work? Or is it upload and unplug?

Easy peasy...read up on what button to press on the module so you don't have to lug your laptop back and forth once you lock onto your vehicle.

it's the button that says datalog on it. Was it 90 second clips that it records?

Anyone know where I can find genuine rdx injectors in a lot of 6? Don't want to buy 8 if I don't have to. They are spendy! https://www.hptautosport.com/product...xoCAW4QAvD_BwE

Aznboi mentioned that the rdx injectors are plug and play right?

Buy from Acura or Honda. If you get a used set have them flow benched and ultra sonic cleaned. And yes they are plug and play in the 07-08 TL . They changed the injectors to match the clip of the rdx in those years and beyond

The only limitation on how long your datalog can be is just the amount of remaining free internal memory. I have recorded multiple hours of dataloggjng with no issues. Familiarize yourself with your flashpro, it is an invaluable tool
