I'm trying to purchase HKS Hi-Power mufflers for my TL-S. Should I get 'em or not? I'll leave that up to you guys.

For the price of those, and this midfuffler/resonator delete. Why didn't you just get the GReddy's? Would have made alot more sense.......

well.......first of all, greddy mentioned something about making cat back system for type-s. they haven't mentioned when but if they do, it will be in a while. let's say......in 6~8 months?

True, but this one will fit a type-s......you just have to get the hangers repositioned. Either way, sounds like a good plan. You could have just spent your money smarter, guess thats what I was saying

for the record I am a full supporter of custom diy jobs... its all gravy to have a cat back from greddy... I spoke to a all of my friends about they were like yeah thats cute... and that on the base tl you will see gains... but then they were like you don't have a base tl... you've got a type s... in other words the extra hp & tq the type s has came from the high flow cats, high flow exhaust aswell and not just the little head work...

In summary... YOU CAN DO IT! (<- Adam Sandler RULES)

welcome 2 custom HKS exhaust family, theres only a few of us guys, but you're the first type-s i know of. i've heard greddy EVO's, they sound good (but sound the exact same on all V6 cars..), HKS sounds AWESOME and very unique on a TL imo. sounds alot like 350z/supra with an exhaust! You will love it! and you'll turn twice as many heads, especially since you're a type-s

i have to find muffler shops to put these sucker on. price range was $150~300. I'm trying to find a place i can get 'em done under $120. every places i went to had too much complaints about installation; such as 'muffler's too long', 'it's heavy so i'm not responsible when those fall off', 'stainless steal doesn't bend so we can't do it'.....i'm gonna keep searching and if i can't find the right place, i'm gonna go with 150

i thought it's gonna be just simple welding and bolt on, but it's more than that. they said lining up is the hardest part. stainless steal was well over 200 bucks......so i'm gonna go with galvanized steel.

tisk tisk tisk... my muffler shop is the best... my true dual idea when I went in was $250 with the stock mufflers... I can't wait to see how much they will charge me for the muffler swap... probably 20 a pop...

you got to find a shop handy with a weld and a bend... if they don't bend [metal] then you shouldn't bend over and get f*cked either

I won't lie, slammed_jdm's canisters are perfectly fitted, but you also have the advantage of having an a-spec kit on there which makes em look even better...
