Cool Help out the new guy! Performance mods

What's up guys I'm new to Acura I recently purchased an 04 Acura TL 6mt with 79k dead stock. Since then performance wise I've added an aem v2 cai, atlp j pipe and test pipe, and a p2r throttle body spacer and not really performance but sounds cool I replaced the factory resonator with a dynomax. Also a d2 coils and hic roof spoiler 😎 Now I need some direction in getting more power out of this without going the boosted route. Any answers are welcomed and appreciated thanks!

Trying to mod for power on a TL, even a manual transmission, won't be rewarding. Unless you're going to throw a supercharger on there, every performance mod you add isn't going to help you gain a noticeable difference in power.

Yeah...looking for performance from a TL...thinking a 10% gain is about it unless you boost...

High flow precats or port and polish intake components.

As Sockr1 mentioned, port and polish, as well as adding P2R intake manifold spacer or throttle body spacer will help increase air intake volume. I would also consider our XLR8 crank pulley. It is CNC machined and made from lightweight aluminum and is stock diameter so you can reuse your oem belts. It will free up 5-10 horsepower and we have them in stock.

You could also look into a catback exhaust which will give you noticeably more sound, but also an additional 5-10 horsepower.

I appreciate all the info guys! As of now I don't think I'll go the supercharger route the tl to is the dd I'm just looking for a little more pep. I'll definitely look into the crank pulley. Is the pnp inexpensive? As far as the catback goes I'm working on a custom one right now I just can't justify dropping a g for pretty much just sound.

I'd like a tune how would you go about doing it? Seems complicated on the 04-06 tl I've read about a jnr Ecu not sure where I'd be able to acquire one

since yours is a DD like mine here's what i did: find used runners in the black market (for sale section of the forum) for about $60 and then send them out somewhere to get PnP'd for about 150-250. once you get them installed, sell your current runners on the forum

search the performance section there are instructions and threads on how to add the flashpro to a 6mt car that's not 07-08. it's not cheap
