Help - Muffler Question

Hi everyone,

I was thinking of purchasing a magnaflow muffler for my car and was wondering if I would need to buy two since I notice the third generation has two exhaust on each side with mufflers attached I'm assuming. I'm not that auto-savvy so I'm not really good with the exhaust system for the TL's. Mine is the 05'.

Thanks!

Also, does any know what pipe size muffler I should get? I plan to keep the stock exhaust tips but unsure which size to get when purchasing the muffler.

Thanks!

You have 2 mufflers in back, plus a mid-muffler further upstream and a resonator.

If you are looking for actual power gains, you'd be better off with a long tube J-pipe than a catback exhaust.

You can get Magnaflow & Dynomax to deletes mid-muffler to make it straight pip if you want small noise increase.

Dynomax 24215 is one that will fit and gives best result with mid-muffler delete.
