Have Stage 3 exhaust, want a little more sound, J pipe or test pipe?

Have Stage 3 exhaust, want a little more sound, J pipe or test pipe?
Hey guys,
So i searched through a lot of threads, and many people have different views on this. I have an 05 TL 6 speed with cai and stage 3 w/dynamax.

I want some more sound, but I'm not sure what part is going to give me what I want.

I don't care much about power (fully built wrx), so which part is going to give me a bit more sound without going catback.

J-pipe?
Test pipe?

What do you guys with Stage 3 have? What gave the best sound/results?

Both! If your ganna get the J-pipe, u might as well get a race pipe with it. The test pipe is resonated, so thats not what you're looking for.

Get both

See thats the answer i wanted! I figured both would help just didnt know which one to get first WITHOUT getting that raspy ass M3 sound.

thanks guys.. ordered the rv6 test pipe for now. Ill take before and after vids and post them up once i get it

I'm pretty sure JwongTLS said that you DON'T want a test pipe because it's resonated lol

Ohhh too late. My anyway:

J-Pipe w/"stage 3" for better sound and less drone.

Race Pipe adds back the drone the J-Pipe removes.

thats what I was originally thinking, but i read in some thread that it sounded like crap, which is hard to believe....

I think im going to find some j-pipes and try different combos to see how I like it... Thanks for the input bearcat!
