Greddy EVO2

Hey guys, I think I am leaning towards the TL as opposed to the TSX, however I was just wondering on some mild mods to do when I do get a TL. I love the sound pf the Greddy evo2 however I heard they have stopped production, does anything else come close to sound, or should I just do a Resonator delete. I dont want anything too loud or annoying, I want something close to the G35 coupe or 350z sound.
Any help please??
Thanks in advance.

First, i would go with the TL if you want more power, but recommend the TSX if mpg is more important to you.

In regards to your original question, I have not heard the Greddy, but have done the mid muffler delete. It sounds similar to the G35 during acceleration and initially starting the car. I like it because there's no drone sound while driving.

"not too loud or annoying"...i think you just described the greddy catback (ie it is loud and annoying). its the loudest catback of the bunch. the ATLP or XLR8 catbacks are not as loud, but give a mature tone. the tanabe and the comptech are the quietest of what's available but just a touch louder than stock and both give a nice mature tone. the greddy's can be found on the BM from time to time. the other 4 are available brand new.

if you just want to make it sound like a g35/350z, and just that (no added power, just sound only) than i would suggest you to try out stage mods. its alot cheaper than spending money on a catback.

also the TL can get good highway MPG's too.

that was on the way to school ~40 minutes away. i hit light traffic as soon as the MID read 35mpg and quickly went back down to 34mpg as i slowed for traffic.

by the time i made it to school my avg mpg was 33

If you really want a nice deep tone, delete the mid muffler, replace the resonator with a dynomax resonator and replace the stock mufflers with magnaflows. Sounds hella sexy!!!

if you love the sound of the GReddy, you probably won't like the stage mods that much. i'd go with used/new ATLP or a used GReddy

Evo2 is also turbo ready.

I mean it would make sense to still go 3" pipes with FI, but evo2 will do.

i have a greddy evo 2 and its not annoying at all. i mean theres some drone but you get used to it. the tone from outside the car is amazing though. i get compliments on it all the time. I think this video will help you decide on the greddy:

I have that video in my favorites lol, I have always loved the sound of greddy but I could find a used system when I was shopping around so I ended up going custom. I still wish I had greddy....
