I love the sound of my Greddy, but I'll tell you, there is a lot of drone. At first, it wont bother you much, but on long drives and when people are riding with you they will get annoyed. I'm used to mine, but I promise you everyone that rides with you will ask or make a comment on the interior noise.

This is coming from someone who never had an aftermarket exhaust so I didn't know what to expect...

When I first put on the Greddy, it was way too loud and the drone was too much. I ended up cutting the resonator from the stock exhaust and put it on the Greddy. The drone is still a little too much...wife still hates it!

Your best bet is to hit someone up that has one and see it in person because everyone has their own definition of too loud/not loud enough. (stillhere..."wasn't loud enough"...WTF???)

evo 2, i don't mind the drone and honestly i don't like people riding in my car. so problem solve....get it and if u don't like it, just sell it, there are so many people that wants that exhaust in here anyways....

im happy with mine...

You have a number of options: Greddy, Tanabe, CT-E, XLR8, ATLP

We have all of them on our website, minus the ATLP: http://store.excelerateperformance.com

This is one of those things where most people are going to recommend what they have. That said, I absolutely love my GReddy. I've heard the ATLP in person, and it's very nice, but it's not loud enough for me.

There is a DIY on the middle of page 2.

Greddy looks great and sounds great but is very loud and the 2-3K RPM drone is pretty bad - vibrating loose change around your interior. I had it stock for 3 months, then re-installed the stock resonator which killed the drone but left a lotta noise, drove another month, then re-installed the stock mid-muffler and now I LOVE it!!! Only thing, I couldda saved a buncha dough by just getting the cans from the beginning and leaving everything else stock, but what the hell - live and learn....

P.S. the resonator took away alot of the annoying drone and top end loudness and gave it a more refined, tuned sound. Not "ricer" at all

Hey. I'm interested in getting it. This squeal that you refer to is it something you heard with the resonator on and then it went away or did you get the high pitched squeal at first and then added the resonator to stop the squeal? Thanks.

Greddy was nice, but loud for my taste. IMO, the Comptech Exhaust is better than all of these including the ATLP base. Perfect sound, 0 drone, no rasp, just perfect.

Yo SpaniardakaG thats a legit deal, did that include a resonator? that was the key part of the buy for me because it improves the quality of the sound immensely in my opinion. like black emblems on the silver btw looks good.

Tame Ladies the squeel had nothing to do with either the exhaust OR resonator. it was there before i had them, it sounds like a loose bearing in a pully or something, and the acura guys cant heair it cuz "the exhaust is too loud" but its a clear squeal at 2000-2500 rps...annoying.

i haven't heard it with a resonator... mines the original package with the piping that Greddy includes... id love to see/hear a vid of yours sense you have the resonator on it, i want to hear the difference...
and did you drop your ride? cause im dieing to cause of the fact that i have the stock rims and im sure it would look so much nice dropped but im scared to cause the piping is so low.. did you run into this problem?

no, not yet, im trying to find a reasonable priced set of slightly used Tien SS coilovers. But ive never put a scratch on my pipes, though they do hang lower than stock i agree. Ill post a vid as soon as i can.
