BTW Sonnik.......waiting for the rematch between you and Mike, lol. I saw his car for the fist time a couple weeks ago with the S/C and new engine setup. That thing is a beast.
Lol yea his car is a monster now. Honestly, I don't think the speedo vid does it justice with the SC, because it looked slower than without it. He needs a tune.

Oh, and he should stomp on my face. Even with the 3.5L swap it seemed he would've beat me. Now with the SC, if he doesn't put it in the 12s I'm gonna smack him......then take his car into the 12s myself

Do not do nitrous if you are looking for cheap, easy horsepower. You will be disrespecting nitrous, and you get burned (literally).

The bad thing about nitrous is because it DOES work. It works too well.

If nitrous is ingested into an engine with the supplementary fuel, HP will be made…. No questions about it. And, that is a bad thing if done indiscriminately.

Our J32 is a fragile creator compared to American motors that are over-built. Our J32 with it’s high compression ratio is very prone to denotation. Now, if you detonate while under the influence of nitrous, you will be having a “bad day” very soon.

In my opinion, nitrous is a much better power augmentation method than supercharging or turbo charging in regards of producing tons of power (cylinder pressure). And, this is nitrous’s down fall…. That it works too well. Nitrous will produce a lot of cylinder pressure quickly. In the TL, that pressure will quickly blow a head gasket or break ring lands (piston) if severe detonation goes unchecked.

Plus as mentioned already, if the a/f ratios are not correct (tuning), you will be melting a hole in your piston.

This is why NAAWWS get’s a bad reputation. Because people can spend cheap money looking for quick power. Nitrous deserves respect. That movie, " The Fast and the Furious", added to nitrous’s bad image (ricer) too. This is really a shamefully situation. Nitrous deserves much better respect than it’s current imagine.

Do not do nitrous if you are looking for cheap, easy horsepower. You will be disrespecting nitrous, and you get burned (literally).

As IHC said, only run nitrous if you have the knowledge and skills to properly implement nitrous. There are many, many gotcha’s to nitrous. Nitrous is not about bolting on solenoid(s), a bottle, and a fed line.

Some people are being lucky with running their nitrous on the TL. They are lucky to have good a/f ratios and little detonation. As Dirty Harry would say, "Are you feeling lucky ?" Even one of those people, the most technically skilled (an Acura technician), admitted that he was on the verge of killing his engine with the nitrous.

A must read for all S/C and Nitrous J32 J35 users (click here)

Does this mean that nitrous can't be used on the TL? Not at all. Nitrous *can* be used. But, the nitrous must be used by those that have the knowledge and skills to properly implement the nitrous.

Do not disrespect nitrous, or you get burned (literally).
