My only criticism for this setup is that the 2.5" piping isn't stainless steel, but nothing that can't be fixed, prolly just shell out a few extra bucks to get it done and I recommend stainless for all of us who have to track our cars through the winter season (snow and salt). Last thing you want is rust.
Ed if you don't mind, post the part numbers on those Magnoflow Mufflers for us people who want to get it done locally. I might get it done down here or when I get back to NY, don't know yet.

Did you even see/listen to the clips? I'm guessing you put your money down on ATLP and feel bad, because to me it sounded almost the same.

I think he means if the tips followed the slant of the bumper. I disagree with this. If it followed the slant of the body it would look stock. This looks mean as hell, and practically IDENTICAL to the ATLP base tips. I had one in my hands a few weeks ago that Mike sent us to test fit on the RJ bumper.

Damn guys...sick setup. I think I might have had my Flowmasters done by the same shop for my ranger way back in the day... If I still lived in Ft. Laudy I would definitely think of hooking up that setup. Nice work.

sounds good, but it kinda sounds like an american car now??? i don't know if that's a good thing or not? i know custom exhausts are cheaper, but how do they compare in hp/performance to the name brand stuff? you gonna get any dyno's in?

It definitely does not sound like an American car. If anything, it sounds like an exotic car. When it comes to performance compared to the name brands, it has to be similar. They all have mandrel bends, they all have 2.5" pipe back to a y then split off into 2.25" pipe. If anything, the custom exhaust has a nice y pipe which looks like it flows better than the name brands which just merge two pipes together. I would do some dyno pulls but i didn't do any before pulls.

Name brand? Umm.. correct me if I'm wrong.. Magnaflow isn't any backyard exhaust. So I don't get this at all. If in namebrand you are referring to ATLP, and XLR8, they are basically rebranded exhaust setups, do some research and you'll see what I'm talking about. I heard it, and I think its up to par with many of the exhausts sold on this forum and I wouldn't doubt the gains would be similar since most of the components are the same.
