got $1500 to spend, what to buy now - Headers or Exhaust or both?

Ok, I got about $1,500 to spend on my car.

Already have the AEM CAI.

Shall I buy the E-Shift Pro Type headers or get a comptech exhaust?

Or shall I go the custom route and get a custom exhaust and headers.

I don't have the money to get the headers and a comptech exhaust (after installs it would be about $2200)

Only problem is I don't know a thing about custom exhaust although there are quite a few threads on them

So if it came down to either comptech or headers, which one would be the choice right now?, HP gain wise, im guessing the headers edge it out by just a little

Thanks for the suggestions

It will be about a month before I do any of these mods so if there is another exhaust in devlopment or another performace mod in the works, I may wait...

get the HEADERS......and im sure u can squeeze the Magnaflow setup....2 mufflers and 1 resonator...plus 150 for piping and install.....if u throw in another 100 im sure it can be done...but headers seem to be the bang for the buck here

They are around the same price: Comptech exhaust 7whp, E-shift pro cats 20whp. Get the pro-cats first and then do the custom exhaust when you have the extra money. You will be getting 13 more whp if you do the e-shift pro cats, and it is around the same price as the comptech catback exhaust.

Theres a whole huge thread about it right below my post, go towards the end to see pricing and reviews of the headers...

Look at Nitrotigers signature for phone # to E-Shift
