Good time to disconnect the battery... when?

After getting the RV6 pre-cat deletes, test pipe, & jpipe installed... would it be beneficial to disconnect the battery and reconnect?

Disconnect before install, reconnect after install is the easiest.

I had the RV6 pre-cat deletes, test pipe, & j-pipe installed but I didn't do it myself. I don't have the tools and necessary skills to do this. I had it installed by a shop that specialize in custom turbo fabrication do it for me. Wasn't sure if they did disconnect the battery since I wasn't breathing down their backs when it was being installed so I was just wondering would disconnecting and reconnecting the battery allowing the car to reset itself would be beneficial... just asking... thanks for the replies.

Yup, take the the negative or positive off for 40min, put them back on, make sure to have your codes for nav system. And then drive ur car really fast, for a while to make things a lil better

Yeah, take the NEG cable off for about 5 mins or so.

Make sure you've got Radio and Navi codes, 'cause you'll need to enter them next time you start the car.
