To get a K&N drop in air filter or not...

I have had an 04 TSX with a drop in K&N filter and I "think" it helped a little in the HP and MPG department...

OR....is my brain just telling me that?

Since I'm trading it in officially next week to get my new 07 TL....should I go ahead and order a drop in K&N filter for my new ride.....or just stick with the factory filter and replace it every 5000-6000 miles?

What have people done...??

P.S......I have NO desire to put a full intake on the car....I'm not a "tuner", but I don't mind a simple drop in filter or a change in spark plugs to get a little extra out of my car....I keep it simple and stock for the most part...(unless its audio related)

You are like the rest of us with K&N.
I know it flows better and doesn't allow any extra dirt in- and the car runs a little better.
Gas is going back up fast- 80 bucks a barrel is not good news!
Order it and drop it in

When I sold the maxima the wife crashed,- the K&N came out and went into the neighbors nissan
