I said some of the intakes have the "Tornado" and here is the link to the ones that do. So I am in the right forum and the statement was correct.
"I heard this Fujita Intake has that Turbonator thing installed, IS this true???"
Keyword "this" as the one you are trying to sell in the TL forum, I am sure that Phesto was not inquiring about the RSX intake - enough said!

Found this comparison, not only for this intake but a few others. Don't know if this helps anyone or not.
I think I also read (maybe here) that Fujita required less time in the the install phase.

Everyone here sings the praises of the AEM. I helped install one on a friends car, and the quality of the Fujita is certainly better. I'd say this intake is the best kept secret of the 3G TL forums.

I just looked at fujita's and injen's websites. I was quite pleased and surprised by the results of the posted dynos on their websites:

http://www.injen.com/webpages/testin...%2004%20TL.GIF
The fujita seems like the winner!

Neither is bad, and this is common with all CAI setups. You're removing the components that minimize this noise to install a CAI.

I have a fujita intake but for 03 i4 accord.
The giant TB clamps, be careful not to over tighten, it will crush/slightly distort the intake tube itself, I accidentally turned my intake opening into an oval. I had to use a C clamp to reshape it back to a circle.
My opinion is actually the fujita filter is kind of crappy, it does not have a built in velocity stack/horn like AEM/K&N filters. Also it has no lip/stop to prevent you from mounting the intake tube too far into the filter, thus disrupting flow.
Yes it's true, cotton/oiled filters always pass measurably and significantly more dirt. The AEM filter does indeed filter better and has no visible pinholes when you hold the media against a light. The flipside is they flow worse than oiled cotton, significantly worse in fact, even by AEM's own data.

It features an inverted cone which helps channel the air through the intake pipe. Helps with the airflow.

Change engine oil more often maybe to counter that?
the AEM dryflow synthetic has much better initial filtering capability cuz it's sort of paper/cloth like. it flows better than oil ones too. that's why i picked AEM. plus you can't beat their dyno results. check out the sticky on top. there are a few posted.

I've had the F-5 CAI on my 05' TL all summer. I felt a slight torque increase at low RPM. At highway speeds it doesn't gear hunt when useing cruise control. At W.O.T. it would hit the REV limiter in full automatic for about the first 300 miles but only for a split second.I don't notice it doing this anymore. Semi- auto I hit the limiter ever time. Throttle response is dead on. For the $$$ you can't beat the performance. It sounds good too. Scares little kids and the elderly when you get on it. Hell, you could use it for a horn. Normal driving you get a turbo like whistle. I think it is annoying, my friends think its cool.
