Fr & Rr BBK FOR $1000 SHIPPED WOOOT

Yeah I was made aware of this a few days ago... got a couple aim messages of where to go...

fastbrakes.com

they aren't vendors here nor do I think they deal with being vendors in forums... so I guess since "vendor" status here is soooo strict maybe one of the vendors can start stocking these so the forum as a whole can benefit

Since you didn't post a link...

http://www.fastbrakes.com

And where do you see a four-wheel BBK for $1k? I see four piston calipers for the front for $1k.

The front BBK will probably fit fine but the rear rotors are different on the TL and so are the rear pads.

$1,000 for front and rear? Sounds too good to be true...I wouldn't mind the front, but I doubt my rims will clear.

Owners of brembos are most likely going to need a special bracket

The rotora kit comes with a special clip/bracket for 6MT/TL-S owners.... Josh @ Excelerate can probably give more info on that...

So I would imagine any kit for a 5AT or AV6 would also need that special bracket

Ive been thinking about getting a BBK... its gonna be time for new pads/rotors for the brembos soon... that alone, can set me back like $500-$600

Wow. good price for Wilwoods though... anybody with a 5AT should jump on that...

i think our 12.2 Brembo 4POT is better than a wilwood 11.8

notice the brembo 12.9s are like $2700.....

yea but they also have a 6piston 13"... for under 2k.. thats the one I have my eyes on

and its a 12.76 4 piston front... not 11.8... the 11.8 is for the auto accord reusing the factory caliper

looks like the page for the TL is the front kits only. anyone know if these are a direct bolt on for a 5AT? i'd definitely be down to get this kit when my front rotors need to be replaced.

Hey guys, just make sure you get a firm date on ETA. Several of us went in on a group buy for these Wilwoods about 3.5 years ago and they f*ckin' took forever to build them. I'm talking like over 6 months!!

It was myself, Lokius, and MugenR. Mugen's got a set of woodies' on his 3G. Waited forever to get them but they do look pretty trick. Just an FYI since you guys are considering them.

yea it's a front only kit, the title of the thread is a little misleading. there's no rear kit for the tl and the rear kit for the accords is the rotor set, there's no calipers. we don't really need a set for the rears anyway, the stock rotors and some hawk street pads in the back will probably be fine.

i saw pics of the red calipers on mugenr's car either here or on v6 peee. there are also pics on accords on that website.

Anyone ordered a set for $725 yet?? If so, were you able to choose a different color for the calipers??

ok, i'm quoting myself to reshow the link but there is a new kit!! a second $725 front brake kit was added which is a 12.6" (instead of 12.76") which offers a little more wheel clearance than the 12.76" calipers. it also says it's lighter, i wonder how much heavier the 12.76" calipers are.

also, they reduced the price of the 13.25" set to $995.

Are you guys absolutely positive this Accord 12.8 front with 12.3 rear package will fit my ride??

I'm literally about 3 clicks from ordering!
