Thumbs up The First...RV6 True Duals vs ATLP Catback

So...as far as I know this is the first side by side video of RV6 vs ATLP...thought it deserved a thread.

Specs:

Car on left:

ATLP V2 J-pipe paired with race pipe and ATLP un-resonated catback.

Car on right:

E-Shift High Flow Procats, RV6 V3 J-Pipe and RV6 V1 True Duals.

Note: At 2:40, we start using the tail lights to indicate who is revving.

I was hoping you guys were going to play some type of musical song when you all were revving

Now we need all 3 side by side (XLR8,ATLP,& RV6)

Man, I might have to swap off the PCDs for HFPCs. It sounds a whole lot more exotic than my true dual setup with PCDs.

I think this vid just sold me on the RV6 V3 J-Pipe and RV6 V1 True Dual.

Is there a significant difference in sound on a Type S considering the displacement difference (I'm assuming the TL not the right is a Base 6MT)?

One thing I don't see people mentioning its that Undying dreams is not running any high flow precats, Rockstar is. I'm not saying the RV6 true dual doesn't sound good, but one car has one more mod than the other.

Finally^

Let the car get used to the exhaust Austin. Will sound better. Not saying sounds bad right now.

And think about HFPC, as I told you, those amazing rumbles started after getting HFPC on my TL

J. f you and your S

I agree Justin I love the sound of my exhaust but on cold starts it sounds like a very cheap rice car for 2 minutes

Thanks for making that video! I like the look of the ATLP, but the RV6 sounds hot with the HFPC's.

I haven't heard either in person but every time I listen to an ATLP clip it does nothing for me, doesn't sound aggressive/exotic. RV6, XLR8, and Stage 3 all sound good to me. No offense OP.

I wanted something other than ATLP but didn't want to pay for a new bumper. I ordered my ATLP on Tuesday. They say it should get here on Thursday. I'm getting impatient

No offense taken! Videos really don't do it any justice, I don't think they do any of these exhausts justice to be honest...

I really love the ATLP though. It's deep in the low RPM range, then it quiets down, then changes tone completely and smooths out, it really screams at full throttle too. I had stage 3 and this is light years better than that.
