First affordable Performance Mods?

i have a 2004 TL with no mods besides plasti dip, as well as tinted tails. i want to get into performance mods, but im not sure what i should go for first. i was thinking a CAI or something. affordable for me is under 150 INCLUDING maintenance fees for bringing it to the shop. look forward to hearing the responses!

A CAI on the TL is practically useless for performance, the stock intake is already very efficient and quite good. Only thing the CAI would do is change the sound.

For a TL, you're going to have to save up a nice chunk of change for any performance mods that have a noticeable change.

Yea your gonna need more than 150 for any performance mods. Check out EndLess RPM for a idea of how much you need there's a plethora of performance mods on the site

Affordable and performance do not work for the TL.

With your budget, you should do a rear sway bar.

I think im gonna remove intake resonator and do the mid muffler delete. Will this make my car sound slightly different in a good way?

Cheap, worthwhile mod!

If you want to triple your budget, a long tube J-pipe that deletes the 3rd cat is going to be your best bang for your money. And you don't need any supporting mods.

Definitely check out the Progress rear sway bar, that would fit in your budget! Otherwise, if you can swing it go for our V2 J-Pipe. Deletes the third cat for more power, no check engine light, and easy installation.
