A few performance mods done and wow..
I wanted a little more power while keeping the cost's reasonable. The main issue with these vehicles is the heat. Heat kills most of the performance, then comes the exhaust system...
I decided to install the following:
ATLP J-pipe
P2R Throttle body spacer
P2R TB + Intake manifold Thermal gaskets
AEM CAI
UR Stock size light weight pulley.
Some Other things done while doing most of those mods, cleaned out the entire intake manifold. You will be surprised on how much crap is built up inside. Used 3 cans of brake clean to flush it out, and cleaned the lower intake runners. Wipe clean the TB out, never spray only wipe it's electronic! While I had a TB taken apart Ive decided to do the bypass mod. Simple enough took me no more than 2 minuets to complete. I decided to replace the PCV valve as well since there was some oil build up inside the manifold.
Other than changing all the HVAC bulbs around the navi screen and the cabin filter it was off to a road test. The power is amazing, no lag, just constant nice flow all the way to red line. Drove 30 mins to work and checked the TB temp by hand, and let me tell you.. Sucker was pretty much cool to the touch! Same with the intake manifold. You'd be surprised what a little mod here and there does! My car feels great, more than anything cleaning out the intake manifold and doing the TB bypass is probably the best thing anyone can do.

Congrats on the performance mods!
I just bought the P2R Throttle Body Spacer myself-it arrives tomorrow. Can't wait to get it installed.

I didn't know either but after I didn't buy that supercharger Ive decided to do minor mods to make it quicker.
It was worth it and especially if you do the TB coolant bypass, talk about a difference!
It was worth it! I'm happy, I wasn't looking for crazy HP, I just wanted a little more.

how did the new mods feel on the buttometer dyno ? I love it when my butt can tell "ooo i got some more powersss" LOL

I kid you not but 1st and 2nd gear feels a lot stronger. I didn't believe it was going to be much of a noticeable gain but for the amount of money spent. Def worth it! I will dyno it soon after another go around of intake manifold cleaning. I would love to order the ported intake runner but only if they produce a ported manifold.

Sweet! I just bought an extra intake manifold and runners to do a port and polish. When I install it on my car, I will be sure to use the p2r thermal gaskets to try and reduce heat soak. I also picked up a spare throttle body that I was planning on getting bored out. Does anyone know what the optimal size would be or does the stock size flow more than enough as is?

NOTE: all the measurements are using a tape and not a Vernier Caliper so expect a SD (Standard Deviation) of 1mm
STOCK
TB intake side: 67mm
TB manifold side: 65mm
P2R spacer + Thermal Gaskets: 3/4inch thick spacer and diameter of 67mm
Manifold Intake side: 66mm
Manifold Runners side: 44mm
MDX spacer + P2R Manifold Thermal Gaskets: 44mm
Runners Manifold side: 44mm
Runners Lower Engine side: DID NOT MEASURE
Ported and Polished: This is how my current setup is
TB intake side: 70mm (Not yet gotten done but next on the list)
TB manifold side: 70mm
Moores spacer + Thermal Gaskets: 1inch thick spacer + Diameter of 70mm
Manifold Intake side: 70mm
Manifold Runners side: 47mm
MDX spacer + P2R Manifold Thermal Gaskets: 47mm
Runners Manifold side: 47mm
Runners Lower Engine side: Polished but NOT ported
The reason I didnt have the lower end ported was so that I dont create a block....so the runners are kinda tapering down....Later down the line when I will get the internals ported and polished will port match the runners....
